So to perform an emergency restart you can use this method when your PC is unable to reboot for some reason maybe Windows fails to shuffle. To do an emergency restart, press control alt delete on your keyboard, and you should see something appear, such as a blank screen. Now, hold down the left control key and then click the power symbol in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. You will then see an emergency restart. Any unsaved data will be lost after an emergency restart, but if your PC is becoming unresponsive or you can’t do anything on it because it’s locked up, then an emergency restart is the best option for you.

Unfortunately, your unsafe data will be lost, emphasizing the importance of regularly backing up your data while using your computer, because the PC could become unresponsive at any time, and you’ll be forced to use the emergency restart feature to shut down the PC. Any work you were doing at the time will be lost, so let’s do an emergency restart here.

Nothing amazing is going to happen. All it will do is restart your computer. It will completely shut down the PC and restart it in a safe manner. Remember whatever data that you were working on at the time. If you had any open Word documents or websites, they will be completely shut down, and you will be unable to restore them. So keep in mind that you must use extreme caution when executing an emergency restart on an unresponsive PC. So that’s about it.
